The guides who lead our East Africa tours are employed by
Roaming Africa Tours & Safaris; we are a tour operator
not a travel agent. Each safari group will be accompanied
by the best driver-guides with expert knowledge in wildlife
and other areas of tourist interest. The driver-guides are
continually under training on subjects as varied as the
maintenance of safari vehicles, client’s safety, the
mating habits of various species, preservation and conservation,
general knowledge and foreign languages: English, French,
German, Spanish and Japanese.
Incase of large groups the tour leaders are with you throughout
your journeys to ensure everything runs smoothly. They are
knowledgeable, caring, informative and insightful, managing
all details of every itinerary to make your vacation smooth,
enjoyable and worry free.
Safety
All of our vehicles are custom built to ensure comfortable
and safe touring. Each is constructed, by a authorized passenger
vehicle builder, to the latest safety requirements, with
a safety shell, and every seat has a lap belt. This gives

Single travel
Travelling alone.No problem. About half of all Roaming Africa
Tours and Safaris clients book as individuals. We organise
for you to share a tent and should you end up having a tent
to yourself there is no single supplement. On lodge and
luxury safaris single supplements will apply unless you
request to share and we have another single person wanting
to share.
Small groups
By travelling with a small group people, you are able to
witness Africa and have first hand contact with this amazing
continent and its people without being a negative influence.
This has been a key factor in our continued success. Our
trips appeal to a wide variety of ages. The average is 37
– with most being aged 25 to 60. The range of travelers’
