Angama Mara
Situated at a spectacular location perched high on the edge of the escarpment of Africa’s Great Rift Valley. The Angama Mara has unrivaled views over the Mara with sensational vantage point overlooking the Mara Triangle.
The Angama Mara is inspired by an old-world “Country Club” style, and guests dine, read, relax, and enjoy a drink in a place where indoors and outdoors merge into one. The architecture is filled with drama, and the red brickwork is inspired by local Maasai technique
Angama Mara is serviced by a private hardtop airfield, from the moment guests arrive at Angama Mara they are welcomed into spacious architecture that stresses expanses of open glass and decking from which to appreciate the spectacular views.
Accommodation and Meals
Angama Mara is home to two separate camps with fifteen luxurious suites at each, along with two sets of interconnecting suites which are perfect for families. Unlike many of their lodge competitors, the guest suites at
Angama Mara are hyper modern in style, with the ten metre wide, floor-to-ceiling glass windows of each suite being the focus, to take full advantage of those incredible panoramas. All suites are fan cooled, with ensuite, a Super King bed and private decks which overhang the Mara below.
The food at this beautiful camp does not disappoint. Simple and delicious, the chefs focus on amazing fresh local produce for which Kenya is famous; grass fed beef, wonderful salads and seafood from the coast.
ACTIVITIES:- Outside of Angama Mara itself, the main activities available are wildlife drives out into the Maasai Mara, either by day or night, and also the possibility of hot-air ballooning and learning more about Maasai culture.
