Arise early in time to meet your tour guide, who will meet and assist you at an agreed and well communicated pick-up point (pick-up time is 7.00 am). Depart south for Magadi Town. Magadi Town is located in the rift valley of Kenya to the south west of Nairobi and to the north east of Lake Natron in northern Tanzania. En route is a stop at the Olorgesailie Museum. Visit the museum. The museum and pre-historic site is world renowned as ‘the factory of stones’. It is the only place with the largest number. Citing the highest number of migratory bird species in Kenya, the pre-historic site is also a bird watcher’s paradise. Enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Olorgesailie. Depart for Lake Magadi Sports Club for lunch. Thereafter, proceed to the Lake Magadi Conservancy. Visit Lake Magadi and the saline, natural Lake Magadi hot springs. Proceed to the Shompole Conservancy. Transfer to your Magadi camp. The Shompole Wilderness Camp is a cute tented camp located at a distance of 25.4 kms from the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Shompole Wilderness Camp or similar.
Arise early at 6.30 am and proceed to the conservancy. Enjoy a refreshing early morning game drive at the conservancy. Return to your Magadi camp for a mid morning breakfast. Morning spent game viewing at the conservancy. Return to your Magadi camp for lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure. Activities at the camp include kayaking, river tubing and swimming at the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Evening spent at the camp whilst enjoying a sundowner and watching a wonderful Magadi sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Shompole Wilderness Camp or similar.
Breakfast at 7.30 am and proceed to the conservancy. Enjoy a refreshing morning game drive at the conservancy. Return to your Magadi camp for lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure. Activities at the camp include kayaking, river tubing and swimming at the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Having concluded your safari, embark on a journey back to Nairobi. The drop-off point is the same as the pick-up point.
