Test your physical and mental strength – a true African adventure awaits your arrival! Kilimanjaro. The name Kilimanjaro comes from the phrase “Kilema Kyaro” meaning “that which cannot be conquered” in the language of the Chagga people who inhabit the base of the mountain on the Tanzanian side. German explorers spelled the name of the mountain as “Kilimascharo”, a name that was later spelt as “Kilimanjaro” by Swahili-speaking people.
